Chris has worked with more than 1,500 engaged and married couples over the past two decades, helping couples build strong foundations rooted in trust, communication, emotional awareness, and shared values. He is a licensed Prepare/Enrich facilitator, a Professional ACC Relationship Coach, and has served in pastoral leadership within The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) since 2003.
Chris Singer is a certified Relationship Coach, Executive Coach, ordained pastor, and nationally recognized speaker with more than twenty-five years of experience helping individuals, couples, leaders, and organizations navigate growth, communication, crisis, and connection.
Currently serving as President and CEO of Lutheran Church Charities, Chris brings a unique blend of personal, pastoral, and practical experience to his coaching. His background spans congregational leadership, executive leadership development, international missions, disaster response, crisis management, and trauma-informed care. During Hurricane Harvey, Chris’s own home flooded with 51 inches of water while he simultaneously led large-scale recovery and rebuilding efforts across affected communities. His leadership during the crisis was recognized nationally by NBC’s Today Show.
Chris is a graduate of Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, where he earned a Master of Theology and Culture and Ordained Clergy Certification. He also holds a BA in Sociology and History from Concordia University Irvine.
Known for his approachable style, authenticity, humor, and ability to connect deeply with people, Chris helps couples move beyond surface-level communication toward healthier, more intentional relationships. While he does not claim to be a “perfect husband” or relationship guru, he brings decades of real-life experience, wisdom, and practical insight that couples immediately relate to and trust.
Chris has been married to his wife Jeanette since 1995. Jeanette is a certified Life Coach and School Counselor with more than twenty years of experience in children’s and family ministry. Together they have five adult children and a chocolate Labrador named Harvey.
inSPIRE for Couples
Couples coaching and couples conferences focus on helping each partner better understand themselves in order to strengthen the relationship as a whole. This work is rooted in the belief that clarity within leads to connection between. Through a forward-focused and practical approach, inSPIRE helps couples identify patterns, improve communication, and navigate emotional dynamics with greater awareness. This coaching provides both insight and actionable guidance, helping couples move out of stagnant cycles and into healthier, more intentional ways of relating.
BECOMING ONE
Becoming One, was created to prepare couples for marriage with practical tools that foster unity and long-term growth. Through guided conversations, intentional teaching videos, and relational health assessments, Chris partners with couples aiming to:

2. Navigate differences with grace
3. Build a marriage that is resilient, healthy, and deeply connected.
